MediaPad Huawei and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, 7 inch tablets that use Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Both are powered by dual core processors but each has a different type of processor. The Huawei MediaPad uses Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8260 chipset with a 1.2GHz dual core Scorpion processor, Adreno 220 GPU and 1GB of RAM. While Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 inch uses TI OMAP 4430 chipset with 1GHz  dual core processor, PowerVR SGX540 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

Huawei MediaPad

In terms of camera, Huawei MediaPad is equipped with a 5MP rear camera, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 comes with a 3MP camera and both have the ability to record 720p HD video. There is also a front camera for each tablet. 1.3MP front camera is found on Huawei MediaPad while on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 there is a VGA front camera.

For connectivity features, both equipped with HSDPA and HSUPA supports, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB port with support for USB on the go, and GPS. So both are ready to get connected on the internet everywhere. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 has 16GB of internal memory which is larger that the Huawei MediaPad that is only has 8GB of internal memory. Both are equipped with a microSD slot up that supports capacity up to 32GB. The battery on both tablets are pretty much similar on capacity. The Huawei MediaPad comes with a 4100mAh battery, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 inch has 4000mAh battery.

So which one is the best tablets? Both have pros and cons. The Huawei MediaPad has a screen with higher resolution and better cameras. On the other hand Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 has a larger internal memory than the Huawei MediaPad. Personally i choose the Huawei MediaPad to buy.
